After practicing law for many years, Dr. Harris retired from his legal career to pursue
his true calling as a full-time writer and speaker. His passion for personal growth and
spiritual development led him to study under Dr. Frederick Eikerenkoetter (Rev. Ike),
where he later became the Director of the Science of Living Institute in New York City.
A former national marketing director with NSA, Herbert became a much sought-after marketing
and wealth-building expert. After graduating from Columbia University in New York City,
he committed himself to lifelong learning—continuously expanding his understanding of
human potential, success, and prosperity.
During his time at Time Magazine in New York City,
Herbert launched a freelance writing career that evolved into a nationally syndicated
newspaper column titled Thoughts for Success. His knowledge pursuits have taken
him all over the world and given him a unique ability to relate to audiences of all ages,
cultural backgrounds, and educational levels.
As a highly sought-after speaker, Dr. Harris has presented to major corporations, national
and international organizations, colleges and universities, national conferences, and trade shows.
He is the co-founder of the LifeSkill Institute, Inc., an
organization dedicated to helping people learn, practice, and master the skills for successful living.
Presently, Dr. Harris resides in North Carolina and is very active as a transformational
speaker and coach at churches, community centers, universities, and corporations. He is a

and network marketing.
